Google released Chrome 154 with security fixes for 108 browser vulnerabilities that affect Windows, macOS, and Linux users. The update includes 11 critical bugs, largely memory-safety issues such as buffer overflows, out-of-bounds writes, and use-after-free flaws in components including ANGLE, WebGL, GPU, ServiceWorker, Fullscreen, WindowDialog, and AdFilter. Google said there is no indication these flaws were exploited in the wild. Stable versions are 154.0.8037.57/.58 for Windows and macOS and 154.0.8037.57 for Linux.
Why it matters: Chrome is one of the most widely used browsers, so a large bundle of critical memory-corruption fixes is material even without confirmed exploitation. Users and admins should update promptly to reduce the risk of drive-by compromise from malicious websites.
