Google released Chrome 155 with fixes for 247 security vulnerabilities affecting users on Windows, macOS, and Linux. The update patches four critical use-after-free flaws in Chromecast, Browser, Navigation, and Track components: CVE-2026-106382, CVE-2026-106197, CVE-2026-106358, and CVE-2026-106347. Updated versions are 155.0.8059.39/.40 for Windows and macOS, and 155.0.8059.39 for Linux. Google said it has no evidence these bugs were exploited in the wild.
Why it matters: Chrome is widely used, so even non-exploited critical browser bugs deserve prompt patching because they can become attack targets quickly after disclosure. Users and IT teams should update Chrome as soon as the new version is available.
